Intel HD Graphics 510 Review:
Intel HD Graphics 510 is an integrated graphics processor for laptops and PC’s it was launched on September 1st, 2015 by Intel. Intel built this Intel HD Graphics 510 on 14nm+ architecture which was based on SkyLake GT1 graphics of Intel. It came to with 96 shading units and execution units of 12 which is used to boost its graphical and gaming performance. It has 12 texture mapping units (TMU’s) and 2 render output units (ROP’s).
Intel HD Graphics 510 is Intel Graphics for low-end laptops and computer processors, if we talk about the performance of this GPU then it is is little low as compared to Intel HD graphics 4400 but still powerful. It features a revised video engine with H.265/HEVC and the outputs are DP 1.2 / eDP 1.3 (max. 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz), if we want HDMI then it is limited to the older version 1.4a (max. 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz). But if you want HDMI 2.0 then you have to put an external connector for it as like other Intel integrated graphics.
How It Works:
Intel HD Graphics 510 comes with no integrated graphics memory but what you do is that it access the RAM or main memory of your laptop or system and make a shared graphics memory with the help of Ram, cache, and processor after this the performance will be depended on the speed of the processor and size of the cache and you are Ram.
