Intel Iris Graphics 540 Review:
Intel Iris Graphics 540 was released by Intel on 1st September of 2015 it is based on Skylake GT3e and generation 9 architecture which is built on 14nm+ Technology and comes with PCIe 3.0. It has a boost clock of up to 1050MHz and a base clock of 350MHz. Intel Iris Graphics 540 can be mostly found in workstation laptops of Intel Core i7 And i5 with Skylake generation and many other PC processors. It comes with the revised video engine which decodes H.265/HEVC. It has so many outputs like DP 1.2 / eDP 1.3 (max. 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz), but if you want HDMI you will need an external connector.
Intel HD Graphics P530 has 384 shading units(double than other Intel HD Graphics GPU) and execution units are 48 (double than other Intel HD Graphics GPU) inside it. It has 48 TMUs(Texture Mapping Units)(double than other Intel HD Graphics GPU) and 6 ROPs(Render Output Units)(double than other Intel HD Graphics GPU). It comes with the support of 4K and the maximum resolution of this GPU is 4096×2304 pixels. Intel HD Graphics P530 supports multiple outputs like DVI, VGA, and HDMI if you put an external connector for it. This Intel HD Graphics 530 comes in many notebook and desktop processors with a TDP of 15W.
Features:
If we talk about the bus speed and type of this Intel HD Graphics 530 then it comes with the 128-bit bus which gives up to 34.1GB/s of memory bandwidth. And if we talk about the features and supports of this GPU then it has DirectX 12.1 support and comes with open GL 4.5, open CL 3.0, and also Vulkan version 1.2. It comes with a Pixel fillrate of 6.000 GPixel/s and Texture fillrate 48.00 GTexel/s. Intel HD Graphics 530 also has so many of Intel great Technologies like Intel® Quick Sync Video, Intel® InTru™ 3D Technology, Intel® Clear Video HD Technology, and Intel® Clear Video Technology.
