Intel Core i9 9900K Review
Intel Core i9 9900K is one of the fastest gaming CPUs, that has 8 Cores and 16 Threads. i9 9900K Offers great performance in gaming, Video Editing, Photoshop, etc. launched in October 2018, when it’s launched Core i9 9900k is the fastest processor among others in the globes. Core i9 9900K is an extremely powerful new Coffe Lake CPU, that offers higher clock speeds, has more Cores and Threads. it also have an itegrated graphics Intel® UHD Graphics 630.
Core i9 9900K is a powerful gaming CPU, that operates at a base frequency of 3.6 GHz but can be boosted up to 5 GHz. it doesn’t matter what you want to run on it, it will run it smoothly and efficiently. the maximum single-core frequency is 5 GHz. this 9th Generation Core Processor has a 4 MB larger L3 Cache than the previous Core i7 8700Ks processor has 12 MB of L3 Cache, which is increased up to 16 MB in Core i9 9900K. the Core i9 9900K is a 95-watt TDP processor and uses the latest generation 14nm chip.
Core i9 9900K is an Octa-Core 64 bit high-end gaming processor, that’s features 8 Cores and 16 threads. it’s a desktop-based CPU, and of course, with the increasing number of Cores and Threads, you will be amazed by its impressive performance. Core i9 9900K is the world’s best gaming processor, which is based on Coffe Lake architecture that uses Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 Frequency. on this 9th Gen CPU, Intel used a solder TIM (Thermal Interface Material) to control CPU temperature, before this they use a Thermal paste between the CPU die and heatspreader which lower the temperature of the CPU.
In our testing, we use an NZXT Kraken X62 Cooler, under heavy workload the CPU peak temperature goes up to 85C with y-cruncher and heavy AVX workloads. as the X62 is a powerful Cooler so some times the system power exceeds 250 W due to heavy workload. It’s because the intel uses different Power Limit (PL) in its chips. the base TDP is running on Power limit 1, but for higher Clock-speed to perform a greater task, the system used Power Limit 2 in which the Tubo mode allows the CPU to access more power, it’s just for a limited amount of time to get the work done at the time.
Intel Core i9 9900K is an excellent gaming CPU and performs well in gaming. if you are looking for a Graphics Card and want to spend less than $700 then buy Core i9 9900K it’s purely made for gamers. by comparing it with Ryzen 7 2700X in gaming performance the Ryzen 7 is 15% slower than i9 9900K. the i9 is the absolute best gaming processor that will run all of your games without any disturbance. you can run any kind of game on it. games like Assassin’s Creed “Odyssey”, Far Cry New Dawn, etc. we have tested some games on Core i9 9900k and got the following result.
Hyper Threading Support
Yes, enabled for 16 Threads.
Pros
Core i9 9900K has 2 more cores than the previous top Coffee Lake CPU
Perform best in both single- and multi-threaded workloads
Core i9 9900K works on the existing LGA1151 platform, also with Z370 motherboards
The Core i9 9900K processor supports up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory
the maximum one-core clock for single-threaded apps is 5 GHz
Cons
consume more power under heavy load
No stock Cooler
pricey
